What do Dakota Fanning, Sophia Copolla, Meg White of the White Stripes, Winona Ryder and Michael Stipe from REM all have in common?
They have all featured in Marc Jacobs advertising campaigns! The designer is well known for his use of celebrity in advertising, but his latest choice of the shirtless, bald REM frontman has some fashionistas a little bit confused. Would this make you want to buy pants?

There have been loads of stories floating around in the last week on Lindsay Lohan, following her arrest for an alleged DUI incident. It has been said that police arrested Lohan on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license, as well as two felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and bringing contraband into a custody facility. My absolute favourite of all the stories protesting both Lindsay's innocence, and guilt, is this one which reports that "the cocaine was not Lindsay's; she was wearing someone else's pants"!
In other Lohan news, it has been reported that she has bet friends $50,000 that she'll get David Beckham into bed. Obviously, if she ends up in jail, this bet will be very hard to win.
According to this source, Timbaland isn't so picky about who he works with. He seems to have collaborated with almost everyone recently, from Justin Timberlake, to Nelly Furtado, to Madonna, to CELINE DION??!! The story is that Celine's new record will be out in the US this November, with producers Ne-Yo and Timbaland both helping her out.
Michael Moore's film 'Sicko' is opening in Australia soon. It explores the health care system in the US, and has gotten Moore into some hot water with the US Government. According to one site, Moore mentioned in an interview on the Jay Leno show, that he has been subpoenaed by the Bush Administration following a trip to Cuba for the film.
Amerie has said in an interview with one website that "some people at her label thought [her] record sales might suffer because [she] went to college". She defends her education (she graduated college in 2000 before pursuing a music career, with a degree in Fine Arts and English), saying that "you don't have to live in your car to feel an emotion strongly". Check out the video for Amerie's new single "Gotta Work...
Scott Baio was once one of the most popular men on TV: from his early role as Chachi in Happy Days, to a male nanny in Charles in Charge, and more recently as the lawyer in Arrested Development. But is his popularity now lost forever? Scott reportedly wanted an invite to the after-party for Anne Hathaway's latest film, 'Becoming Jane', but the organisers didn't think he was the 'right celebrity' to have at the event! See 'what inspires Scott Baio' in the video below...
