It turns out that Tim Burton found his Alice not in LA nor down the rabbit hole, but Down Under.
Mia Wasikowska began her career with a part in the Aussie tv series 'All Saints', and is now in negotiations with Tim Burton for the part.
On the film's IMDB entry, Mia is the only cast member announced... but I wonder if Tim Burton will find a place for Johnny Depp in the production?!

I really just wonder what Lindsay Lohan will be doing in 10 years, if we'll remember her. She should play the Mad Hatter in some "ironic" castint though...
This girl is an amazing actress, I've been watching In Treatment on my ipod, she acts the pants off the rest of them ;)
