I heard they're big in South America

Rumours were circulating last week that rapper Nas was being dropped by his record label over the title of his next album.

He has been at the centre of controversy since announcing that his ninth studio album would be named Nigger. However, the rumours were listed as false over the weekend, with the album still scheduled for a February release.





Super Furry Animals announced that they are going to let fans determine the setlists for their upcoming US shows.

The band has set up a "voting widget" on their blog, which will allow fans to vote online. According to the site, "The results are being tracked in real-time - Super Tuesday style - and will be fed to the band as they course around the US."



J2K of Flosstradamus is cleaning out his place and putting a heap of stuff up on eBay. The Moldy Peaches have discovered one of their songs has become a hit in South America – and the duo knew nothing about it.

They currently have a track 'Anyone Else But You' on the Juno soundtrack, but discovered that their song 'Jorge Regula' was being used in a toothpaste commercial!

Adam Green, from the band, said that they only discovered the ad after it started winning awards: “The only reason we found out about the commercial was we started winning awards for best commercial of the year in Argentina. Friends of mine would come back and say ‘Hey, I was just on holiday in Chile and your song is on the TV and radio all the time!’.”

Pharrell has collaborated with Louis Vuitton creative consultant Camille Miceli, to create Blason - a jewellery collection for Louis Vuitton.

Camille is also Marc Jacob's personal PR girl. Nice.

Says Style Musings:

"Specific details on the collection have yet to be released, but Louis Vuitton is expected to unveil four separate and distinctly themed lines under Blason that will launch this spring at its flagship stores worldwide. The pieces range in price from 1,400 to 420,000 Euros, or approximately $2,070 to $621,000...featuring combinations that include, but are not limited to, white gold with diamonds and yellow gold with diamonds."I want to see what the pieces look like, but I guess I'll have to wait. This is not the first collabo between Pharrell and Louis Vuitton. Back in 2005, he help design and launch the house's first sunglass collection with A Bathing Ape founder Nigo
