The BBC is going to use up all the internet

From The Guardian:

The BBC is to create a web page for every episode of every television programme it has ever produced as part of a huge online archive that will span nearly 80 years.

BBC executives hope the move will give its programmes a longer shelf life as well as plugging gaps on its website.

Executives have previously privately conceded that there is often more information about BBC programmes on third-party websites than on bbc.co.uk.

EVERY episode of EVERY television programme?? What if they use up all the internet?

Just don't try typing 'Google' into Google...

Has anyone ever tried searching for !!! (Chk Chk Chk) on Google?

Try it now... why isn't it allowed?

Do you think they chose that name just so that no one could Google them?

Girltalk feeds the animals

Girltalk has been working on a new LP.

Titled "Feed the Animals" he has described it as a chamber pop masterpiece, and it features a 16 piece symphony orchestra, a vocal choir, Brian Eno on production AAAAAAND over 300 samples in 55 minutes.

To get your hands on it digitally, Girltalk and his label Illegal Art are 'doing a radiohead' by issuing the album via the Illegal Art website in the coming weeks in a pay-what-you-want setup.

And if you like cover art - the CD and vinyl will follow in a few months.

Ever since I saw Serena and Vanessa's Guitar Hero battle on Gossip Girl, I've wanted my own wii / play station / xbox and a copy of the game...

The latest piece of news from the Guitar Hero franchise is that they will soon be honoring Metallica with their very own version of the game, due out in early 2009.

Check out the Gossip Girl battle below:
